Belkin F5D6020 PCMCIA on LFS 6.1

Hi. I just finished building LFS 6.1, but have no idea how to set up my wireless card. I am pretty sure I added PCMCIA support when I compiled the kernel, but not positive I added everything I need. Right now, the lights on the card are turned off. I don't think the system has even detected PCMCIA. This is not an issue of whether or not the card will work, because it worked with almost no setup under Knoppix and Ubuntu. I just don't know how to set up PCMCIA. I have not gone through the BLFS book yet. I thought I should get my network set up first, so I can read it from the LFS system.

PS: I have searched the LFS website, Google, and LinuxQuestions. Also, ifconfig and iwconfig don't seem to be installed, and ifup and ifdown aren't in the path.
