being billed for free time usage at dataone night limited plan

i am writing the problem in detail:

i use dataone bband night unlimited plan. i switch on modem and computer at 12 am. to stop network transactions i use the command “ service network stop”.
service network restarts at 2.20 hrs and azureus fires up at 2.30hrs. all this is done via webmin. machine shuts down at 7.50 am. but still i find bandwidth being consumed. e.g. i used azureus ystdy nite as usual and found 58 mb consumed, should have been free!

any solution to stop this consumption of bandwidth within free hours??
thanks and regards

Which distro ?

You need to be clear.
2.00 to 8.00 is your free time.

You must have used 58MB before that.

Is your clock ok ?

Does your command really work?

pppoe-stop or adsl-stop should suffice for stopping the adsl connection

Best
