Behind TMG proxy using laptop as router as a hotspot for wifi, routing traffic from wlan0 to localhost:1234

Hi folks
I'm behind TGM proxy , connected via LAN on eth0 which goes to my laptop. Creating socks proxy tunneled with ssh via cntlm can bypass the proxy which is fine for my laptop. But I struggle to create a hotspot using wifi (wlan0) on my laptop and then route all the traffic from wlan0 (which creates the hotspot) to localhost:1234 (ssh tunnel to outside world) and all the traffic arriving on localhost:1234 to redirect to wlan0 where the hotspot is created. Any idea for a iptables / hostapd config ? I assume running two ssh tunnels on two different ports would be easier for the configuration, one port left untouched by iptables for internet on laptop, the other used for wifi.

Some lappys struggle to use wlan0 and eth0 simultaneously and in conjunction with a hotspot...because they share resources like power and buss's

is your lappy one of these?

Not that I expect this resolved the issue but Please mark posts as useful and mark the thread solved if issue is resolved...

Nope I'm good setting up hotspot and routing wlan0 via eth0, both by hostapd or create_ap utlis. Where I struggle is I need to route the traffic coming from wlan to go through socks proxy on localhost port, not directly outside via eth0.
