befsr41 firmware

sorry for the non-linux question, but i was wondering if anybody knows where to find aftermarket firmware for linksys router's. I heard of ppl telling me that there's open source firmware available for linksys routers that is better than the firmware that linksys provides?

Depends on the router version, I had version 1 and it sucks ass using either firmwares... it will drop packages anyways, not to mention is slow as hell sometimes, oh, and the "hangs" when it has been on many days/weeks.

Piece of advice:

Grab the router, throw it into your trash can, kill the salesman and then buy a good one or set an old linux box as router.

Thats what I did
