bcm4400 doesn't seem to be present

hi,

I installed RedHat 8.0 on Dell Dimension 2350. each time i restart my pc, it would say:

bring up interface eth0: bcm4400 doesn't seem to be present, delaying eth0 initializaion. [fail]

thus, i cannot connect to internet. I checked my network configuration, eth0 is inactive and i cannot activate it.
anyone can help me?
