Backup of email
I m using postfix on RHEL4
Email is the essence of my organization.
I want to make a backup of every incoming and outgoing email from my server.
Becuase many user require their emails bcause they , some time lost their
copy .
How can I accomplash this task.

You're an RHCE?  anyway.... just use cron to copy the files to wherever you want... what kind of mailboxes are you using? Maildir's in /home/user/Maildir? boxes in /var/spool/mail ? just tar them up and put them wherever you want.

Thanks for ur reply.
I m using mailbox format . mail stored in /var/spool/mail/username
I have already this idea which u mentioned.
But two things confuse me.
1- I can use cron to store /var/spool/mail in remote system. but what if a particular user pop his mails before cron runs. ,(mail will deleted from server)
2-what about outgoing emails these will not store in /var/spool/mail directory

Checkout the *_bcc options that can be added to main.cf. In particular: always_bcc
