autofs + sshfs, can I run it as normal user ?

Hello, I want to configure autofs and sshfs as normal user. sshfs works as normal user automatically, but not autofs? When I "sudo /etc/rc.d/rc.autofs restart" it tries to use root's ssh keys. Obviously this is because I used sudo. Is there any way to manipulate autofs as normal user?

for a single user, just set the uid and gid values. what i'd be interested to see is a mechanism to allow it to scale to an unlimited number of users without providing gid's and uid's for all of them... http://www.mccambridge.org/blog/2007...se-and-autofs/
