Authetication failure for pure-ftp virtual users

I also do have this problem, i can create users, give them
passwords, restriction, etc. but when i try to loggin, it
gives the authentication failed message: 530, authentication
it probably is in the PureDB thing, (it cant read the file
(??)) i did everything again and again, i installed the
package --with-everything --with-langauge-dutch

i running it on a Redhat9 (intel architecture)
(kernel 2.4.20-8)

i hope you can help me ASAP.

Have you looked at the pureftpd documentation on their site? It has configuration examples for you to follow. go here:
