Attempting connection to hot spot fails

OK! Going to take this one step at a time.
The script should allow me to connect to any of available on WPA2 (also others) where I have password/phrase.

It removes /var/run/wpa_supplicant/wlan0 because when it exists at the beginning of the script it is corrupted and the system asks for it to be deleted. That in case anyone has read my other posts.

I am trying desperately to learn how to configure this script and apparently made the mistake of following the direction's in Alien Bob's Configuring Networks in Slackware directions as, I guess, they are meant for building the AP not connecting to it. He has advised not to mess with /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf. So I have removed that from the script thus not messing with that file.

I am still getting a set of error?? messages from dmesg | grep wlan0 which I cannot understand whether they are pointing at a problem with the AP or me.
o Is link not ready due to my poor script or is the AP somehow locked up / incapable of responding?
o I used iwconfig wlan0 power on from the command line and there is no response so I presume it is enablable. So why then the "does not support power management" message?? Why does it halt device but doesn't appear to do so??
o Why does link go ready then not ready?
I have entered the password/phrase 'sassphraseinascii' by enclosing it in double quotes or not and get varying sequences of ready and not ready. This is also confusing to me.
o Why is it complaining about no IPV6 routers. What is it trying to tell me?
Here is a typical list of dmesg|grep wlan0 responses:
[ 4182.853841] ndiswrapper: device wlan0 removed
[ 4184.028466] wlan0: ethernet device e8:5e:07:11:1f:68 using NDIS driver: net8192cu, version: 0x1, NDIS version: 0x500, vendor: 'Realtek RTL8192C Wireless LAN USB NIC ', 0BDA:8176.F.conf
[ 4184.028518] wlan0: encryption modes supported: WEP; TKIP with WPA, WPA2, WPA2-PSK; AES/CCMP with WPA, WPA2, WPA2-PSK
[ 4184.029799] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready
[ 4190.811607] ndiswrapper (mp_set_power_state:368): wlan0 does not support power management; halting the device
[ 4198.048696] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready
[ 4205.369122] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): wlan0: link becomes ready
[ 4215.578019] wlan0: no IPv6 routers present
[ 4241.906698] wlan0: no IPv6 routers present

I appreciate very much the time being taken with me as I am trying to get connected and get a handle on some of this wireless stuff.

please use code tags for code.

why did you start a new thread on this?

it seems your last 4 threads (including this one) could have been merged into one.

and what ARE you trying to achieve? what is this script supposed to do? why don't you show us "The Script"?

@ondoho: I appreciate UR comments but like so many others they are not directly addressing the question as I will attempt to do for U:
CODE TAGS: a) wasn't thinking b) they are not code they are errors
NEW POST: because tho well meaning the responses have not directly addressed the problem merely offering an alternative which does not solve the current problem.
MERGING: very astute. Am trying to restrict the effort to just the errors specifically related to WPA2, i.e. reducing the problem to as specific and simply as I can based on my limited facility within WIFI/networks.
TRYING TO ACHIEVE: I think that has been answered. But to put a finer point on it, I am trying to find out how to connect to an AP so that I can finish this script.
WHY NO SCRIPT: It ain't done yet and it would not help because the problem here is what the H... do these error messages mean?
Can U help?
