Hi all, I have a Nikon wu a1 wifi dongle and I would like to connect it to my asus router to be able to see it in my home network.
Is there any way to do that?
Thanks
From the description and manual the adapter works as an access point versus managed mode. Many embedded devices have the functionality i.e. act as an AP for initial setup to connect to an existing wireless LAN so it's possible assuming the wireless adapter is capable.
I'm guessing that unless someone has reversed engineered the firmware to add the feature your out of luck at the moment.
Good idea. I would think it uses something fairly simple for a file transfer protocol. Once connected you could scan for open ports and see what happens.
