Asus A7V8X Onboard BroadCom LAN Problems

Hi All,
I have Red Hat 9.0 and an Asus A7V8X MoBo (with Broadcom 4401 Onboard NIC), the drivers supplied on the disk I can't seem to make work and the same with the drivers from the broadcom and asus websites... I'm really stuck, and being a newbie to linux this aint helping me learn at all!

Any help much appreciated.
