assigning ftp users saving rights

How do I assign rights to users to be able to ftp into my server

do you want to added users to ftp or what ?, if you want to add users then just add users to linux you can use the same to login to the ftp

i have already added users and have installed ftp,but users cannot ftp files to the linux server

are you getting any error / are the users able to login to the ftp ?
