arp issue ---> ? (192.168.1.1) at <incomplete> on bond1

Hi

I can not PING machine 192.168.1.1/24 from 192.168.1.254/24.
When I perform `arp -a` it shows output below :

Code:

? (192.168.1.1) at <incomplete> on bond1

Why there is "incomplete" keyword instead of MAC address ?

I sometimes get a similar output if a system is not on, but was on earlier.

In this case addr 17 is a laptop that shuts off its wireless adapter and can not respond.

What is addr 1 in your network?

Incomplete, because this machine 192.168.1.1 does not replayed to ping, it not exists or is offline or just block communication.
