Exclamation ARGH - Fedora 8, ipw3945, Dell XPS M1330

Trying to get my wireless card going. I found this thread - http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...dora-8-600493/

I'm having issues with DHCP - this is because I have a static setup. After following those instructions, my wireless card is detected, and the WLAN LED flashes rapidly, but it doesn't actually connect. According to my router, the adapter shows that it is connected

What's the next step? Where do I go to change the IP? If I go to the "Network" in "System" (Running KDE) I can't change the IP setup for my wireless, the "OK" button is greyed out.

Any help appreciated!

Fixed - typed this

Code:
$ su -
then

Code:
$ service network stop; service NetworkManager start
(Case sensitive)

And then networkmanager picked up my wireless adapter and I was able to connect to my network.

Beware that the new NetworkManager doesn't support Static IP for some reason, I switched my network to DHCP as a last resort.
