Unhappy AppleTalk

I would like to use MAC-G3(as a matter of fact any MAC m/c from Apple) which can mount Linux file
systems(which are exported) without having AppleTalk support in Kernel. The bottom line is
i don't want to use AppleTalk to include in the kernel or as module, But still i need to mount Linux
file systems on Apple MAC systems. I am able to mount Solaris and SGI file systems on MAC m/c
without worrying about AppleTalk. I would like to do the same thing with Linux.
