Unhappy Apache webservr on linux redhat 9


Hi all,
I a m working on an Apache webserver installed on linux redhat 9 for the first time.Accidentally I logged off the sysetem and the screen appears to be like this

only the "greater than symbol" appears.the system did not shut down.I dont want to shut down the server.How can I go back to my log in without restarting the machine???

Try ctrl-F2 -- it should give you a new login prompt.

I tried ctrl-F2 also nothing happened.

You probably pressed the \ key instead of the enter key. Just press ctrl-c.
