Apache SSL

Hi all,
i've got a small problem with apache and ssl.

when i go the site over SSL i have to accept 4 certificates and i want to use just one certificate. this is in my /etc/apache2/ssl.key/ directory
Quote:
linux-box:/etc/apache2/ssl.key # ls
. README.KEY snakeoil-ca-dsa.key snakeoil-dsa.key
.. server.key snakeoil-ca-rsa.key snakeoil-rsa.key
this is a live server so i can not experiment by moving certificates to check if that might help... so i hope one of you can tell me.

thanx a lot!

-cheers-

The only reason I can think of to cause this problem is that there is a trust path from the server going through 3 higher level CAs. Your client may not trust any of the CAs therefore prompting you to accept the certificate.

This is just my most educated guess since I've never seen this problem before. If that truly is the problem, then I think automatically trusting the root CA in the hierarchy should get rid of the prompts.
