Unhappy Apache problem

Hi,

I'm new to linux so excuse me if you don't understand me properly :P

Ok, I've put an index.html in /var/www/html. When I go to the url of the server, I still get the apache test page. How can I get rid of the test page so that it shows my index.html page?

When I type insert-url-here.com/index.html or just type my ip/index.html it works.

Thanks in advance.
