Apache Config Hell: SSI


So, I'm trying to set up Apache 1.3.33 on my Slack 10.1 box (installed using the slack pkg that came with 10.1). I've got all the config options set that I'm supposed to have (parsing .shtml files, which was simple as uncommenting. I also added the Include option). I checked to make sure, and Mod_includes is installed, and it is being called by httpd.conf. Errors revealed jack. I guess I should probably post my httpd.conf, just in case, so here yah go.. I already ran a search for people experiencing similar problems, but I couldn't determine what was going wrong compared to their solutions.

I love Apache's HTTPD, but I swear.. sometimes configuration can be horrible.

Also, I had to cut out some of the comments to squeeze it all into this post

Did you restart apache?

What ssi page are you using to test?

Yup, I restarted apache. I'm using code that has worked on my web server that is online, so I know it isn't any problems with that.

Bump/report: Still no go. I removed the slack package, and then downloaded/compiled it myself. Same problems - SSI stuff just isn't working. It was compiled with includes by default, and I added the includes option and uncommented the .shtml handler stuff. I followed all the instructions given to me, with no success.
