apache and mpeg2 files

Posted this same question on apache forums with no response so I thought I would try here. Here is the down and dirty. Installed Fedora Core 4 and apache so I could use the box like a storage bin for old seldom used files that I don't want to get rid of but yet still have quick access to. Started apache no problem. Stopped apache and loaded my content (text files, zip files, photo files, music files, mpeg2 files etc) into the /var/www/html directory, restarted apache and opened my web browser and opened http://localhost/ and my mp3, zip, text files are listed in apache index page except for my mpeg2 files which do not show up on the apache index page. Checked permissions and they are set to read and execute. Have any Ideas as to why the mpeg2 files are not showing up on the apache index page? thanks for any help
