Apache

Hello,

Uh, I installed Apache a while ago, to setup my HTTP server, but I realized that I'm the only one that can see my website.. so I figured that the port 80 might be closed on the router...
How do I open it??

I'm using Fedora Core 3.

Thanks in advance.

PS: Sorry if this is a newbie question.

if it's the router, you need to log on to it (e.g., http://192.168.0.1) and enable the port/service. what router? that might help the answers be more specific.

How do I log on to my router and enable the port/service?
And how do I find what router I use?

sorry about that, but I'm new to this...

does it say on the router what kind it is?

usually you access the router by entering the address in your browser, probably either http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 i think. then you enter your username and password.

None of these worked.

And no. It doesn't say what kind of router it is.
