Anyone knows how to use FTP PORT mode via NAT?


I have a firewall whit nat for 3 subnets, i want to use FTP POR mode, from them anyone knows how to do it?

thanx in advance..

What ports are you trying to run this on? Have you tried to do it yet, if so what was wrong? Give us a little more info.

You need to use passive mode though NAT. If you were to use normal Port mode you would need to dynamically create global to local port mappings dynamically. Nightmare. If you could hard configure the port to be used for the data session then you could hard configure an incomming nat translation but why bother? Whats wrong with passive mode?
