Anyone know a Java or Flash Based *Live Chat* for Linux?

Hi all,

I am looking to put a in place a live chat system for our companyies website to offer support to clients. We are currently using PHP live, however, this uses a pull method to communicate with the server. That's slow and causes server load. We need a system that is java-based or flash-based. We also need one where the customer service officer interface works under Linux.ie no Windows softwares.

I have found such software difficult to come by although have little, in fact no experience in this area.

I would be very gratefully for any help/assistance/recommendations?

Many thanks,
Tom
