Amule and ktorrent are crashing my modem.
 

Hi there,

I'm trying to use amule and ktorrent with my D-link 500g modem but it always "crashes".
Five minutes after i start using those programs, my modem stops routing, i mean, i cannot ping/access any site or resolv a url (so the dns server stops too). Even when i close those programs, my modem doesn't work until i restart it. How can i solve this problem? Does anyone have problems like those?

It happened to me on a AP connected to a dsl modem. The modem/router had to be changed because it wasn't working with this dsl line. And it made the Zyxel AP reboot.. Nice..
Try to constantly ping the router and see if stop responding after some time.
In my case, after sending special packets, the AP was going off but nice of him was going on again after 5seconds. Exactly what you need for amule for your ratio ;)

I think it was a dlink also..

i experienced this problem when i use cheap modem so i change to ipcop ( free ) with properly setup port forwarding its solve this kind of problem
