Amigo/Slackware 9.1 Client on ICS Network
OK, I tried this in the Slackware forum to see if I could get some distribution specific help, but that didn't work so here's my problem:
I am using Amigo/Slackware 9.1 on a FAT32 partition and using that as a client on an ICS network. The topology is cable modem is connected to the internet via coax, modem to XP Home box, out of XP box to a D-Link switch, switch to Amigo/Slack box. I have three other nodes (XP laptops) that all work fine, but I can't ping anything on the network from the Amigo/Slack box.
I'm thinking that I don't have the hostnames configured properly, but after trying everything I know how to do, still nothing works. Help me please!
