all of a sudden i can't resolve?

Hey guys, im running RH 7.2 with dhcpd and named on the same box. After a while i find i cannot resolve my dns names...i have to restart the named service before it will resolve again...I'm actually still waiting for it let me resolve again.

Has anybody experienced a problem similar to this?

FYI: I just issued myself a static ip and it worked straight away...perhaps a DHCP problem?
