Aliases not working with Postfix Virtual Users Setup


Hello,

Could anybody please explain that how to configure aliases with Postfix virtual users setup. Also root mail are not being delivered and I am getting the error message unknown user: "root@otown.com". My domain name is otown.com.
Whenever I tried to send a mail ti alias I receive the error unknown user.

Is your MTA accepting mail for otown.com as a local destination? Have you a user called root?
Can you show your output from
