After kernel upgrade ssh not working


I have upgraded kernel from 2.4 to 2.6 and now ssh is not working :

Before upgrade it was working .... Now when i boot older kernel also...
The /usr/libexec/ssh-askpass file doesn't exists (and never did)
What could it be ??

When you boot the older kernel it does or doesn't work? Is all you upgraded the kernel? Have you tried reinstalling openssh and openssl?

I have reinstalled newest openssh/ssl from tgz package, on older kernel works.
Of course net is ok.

Hrrm. On some systems, there is an ssh-askpass package. Have you tried installing this?

On Slackware there is not such package. I also didnt find it for any other system....
