Unhappy After change ip, cannot ping to old ip

Hi I have a web server with an ip 172.19.19.113, I have changed the ip into 172.19.19.113 and use the old ip into a new webserver.

Now I can ping to 8.8.8.8, localhost and gateway with no problem but not the old ip with the error Destination Host Unreachable. I can ping to another local ip ( e.g 172.19.19.117) but not the new webserver. (172.19.19.113)

How can i troubleshoot this problem, I've already changed the hostname at /etc/hostname & /etc/hosts. I've also have perform network service restart.

Thank you

1. Check IPTables if configured. Stop the service for while and check.
2. use tcpdump on the server whether the packets received by server or not.

Many possible reasons, hostname not being one of them. First, can you ping out to any address from the new server?

I am thinking of:
Cable not connected.
Firewall as the other poster said.
Is the new IP address really set, and on the right interface.
Routing table.
Switch configuration.
