ADSL web addresses not converted

Hello,

I just connected for the first time with a new provider in High Speed with an USB modem. Connexion is ok and I can surf with actual web addresses, but not with symbolic addresses : they can't be converted. I'm running under Mandrake 9.1. Apparently I neither can get e-mail
...

Thanks a lot in advance to everybody who can help me, because I don't know where to search.

You need to configure your Linux as DNS client by editing file /etc/resolv.conf and put your ISP's NS1 and NS2 ip address:
nameserver 202.138.103.100

See how to configur linux dns client http://www.cyberciti.biz/nixcraft/vi...ns-client.html

You are not getting email? Would like to run your own mail server? Or just get email from ISP pop3? Or from yahoo mail? I'm not clear about this!

Hope this helps

Thank you very much ! I found the actual IP DSP addresses and I replaced the old. That runs fine ! E-mails are other thing...
