Unhappy ADSL Router problems

I was trying to setup ADSL conection using a DSL-504 router on my mandrake 9.1 computer - got half way through config on the router - and now I cant connect to it again to finish the setup - cant ping it at all- any way to reset the little mother - so that I may regain access to set it up so I can enjoy faster internet connection-
by default they ship them configed as dhcp - but the dam thing wont issue a ip address -

isp does not support linux - windows only - so cant get any joy nor any help from them

I would guess that since you only got halfway through configuration you router is hangd up! Just press the reset button on the back or bottom of your router then the factory defaults will load and you can reconfigure it.

I have a D-Link DI-604 router and a Speedstream 5360 ethernet bridge. The latter connects with my ADSL provider (BellSouth) without problems. I configured the router by calling http://196.168.0.1 from Mozilla and it got me in but I never could connect with ADSL. I tried again today and couldn't even get into the router setup, so I went to the other computer. Got in, router and bridge seemed to be communicating, but I now have an authorization problem with BellSouth that I didn't have before. I changed the password for the router to the same one I use for root and that didn't help. Tried to go back to the first computer and can't even get the setup screen there. The main reason I want to network is so that I can use ADSL from either machine without unplugging the 5360.
