I am running SLAX Kill Bill edition (WINE is so great of course Wine Is Not an Emulator)I'm having trouble connecting to the internet. I have SBC Yahoo! internet, a Speedstream 5100 modem, and I've already tried the command "adsl-setup" or "pppoe setup" it was one of those two. Is it not connecting because of a browser error, or because of something else?
Probably something else.
adsl-setup sets up the configuration script
adsl-start starts the client.
adsl-status reports the status of the link
Google for more info.
Also the output of following command will show if the link is established.
/sbin/ifconfig ppp0
