Adding virtual ips to fedora 3

Hey all,

I have a fedora 3 box that i am ssh'd into and need and to add a subnet to the box. The eth0 is single ip, the virtual / subnet I am adding is 8 ips. Someone know of some easy instuctions to get me through this. The box is remote, so I got to be careful not to bring the thing down.

The subnet is on a differnet network (not network card)

ifconfig eth0:2 inet x.x.x.x netmask x.x.x.x
ifconfig eth0:3 inet x.x.x.x netmask x.x.x.x
ifconfig eth0:4 inet x.x.x.x netmask x.x.x.x
ifconfig eth0:5 inet x.x.x.x netmask x.x.x.x
ifconfig eth0:6 inet x.x.x.x netmask x.x.x.x
ifconfig eth0:7 inet x.x.x.x netmask x.x.x.x
