Adding static routes to fc1 router

Hi

I am trying to setup a linux router on a /24 network that routes to a /29.

The router is running fedora core1 with kernel 2.6.7 installed.
Now I have given the subnet network-address ***.***.***.216 and the routers internal interface is ***.***.***.222.
On the other interface, at the class-C network, I have given it ***.***.***.133.
I have enabled ipv4 forwarding but I don’t know how to setup the static routes. I wanted to edit the route-eth0 file manually but my changes didn’t work and I am ashamed  to say I don’t really understand the gui tool.

Please help

Thanks alot

Why didn't it work?
Did you try out first to get the routing correct? It's better to add routes from cli first, try it out & when routing is correct add to route-eth0.

So, is it the syntax you don't get right, is it the adressing, or isn't route-eth0 read? Also, what about eth1?
