Adding a Linux server to a Windows domain

Hi,

I have a Windows domain (Active Directory running on Win 2003).

How can I add a Linux server to my domain?

Samba is running of my Linux server (CentOS 4.2) and we can access it from our windows machines by using \\192.168.64.23.

What do I need to do to acces it by using it's machine name?

I started to check smb.conf but it is kinda confusing...

i think you need to configure samba to be a wins client

Ok, got it to work as a WINS client.

Also can see it under Network Places.

Look like I solved my problem.
