Add on Dlink card ping gets hanged
 

hi,
i have bartman main board , linux 7.3OS kenrnel ver 2.4.18-smp .

the board has one 10/100 mbps and one 1000 mbps lan port.


additionally i had put one dlink giga card -- DGE-530T with controller
88E80001 . The driver for this suits for the on board giga card Marvel Yukaon.


The problem is that with the same driver from dlink ..the onboard card works well and it ping continusly to other machine . but the addon dlink card ping for 8 or max 11 pings and hangs up . I had also changed the driver ( sk98lin v8.23.1.3 )but same issue. can some one put lights
