activate an ARCNET device

HY!

We have the exercise to operate with an ARCNET device under LINUX, FEDORA
CORE4, on kernel 2.6.11.
We donīt know how to implement (activate)the ARCNET modul, the message "not Set" is shown.
During install device wasnīt automatically activated

Please send some hints to do.

Best regards
Engelbert Danner
