Accessing windows Filesystem using a liunx client




i have two computers on a network, one has redhat 9 and the other has XP with NTFS,

i want to access the XP files from my linux machine, please could someone help i dont have a clue in what to do to access the files

my friend says its a small program that configs it but i am not sure,

could someone please help

Have you successfully installed and configured samba? How did you install samba - source or rpm?
