Accessing servers from the internet...

Hello all.

Mkay, I have a Mandrake 10.0 server with a set of servers on it that I would like to allow access from the internet. One is the FTP server, another is telnet, and the third is webmin. I can access two of the three (haven't setup ftp yet but plan to very soon) from inside the network but cannot access them from the internet. The webmin server is on port 10000 so if I type in my outside IP with :10000 on the end of it, it seems like it wants to connect but then times out. How do I setup internet access to different ports?

Thank you in advance!!!! This forums has been so helpful to me, I could just KISS IT!!!!!!.........................................ok.....maybe I'll skip that part..... :)

Essentially, you'll need to open the firewall for the ports you want to use. I'm not sure how you set up your firewall, but you'll just need to allow inbound on port 10000, tcp.
