Question Accessing samba server from windowsXP


Do i ahve to do any special configuration to access samba server from my Windows XP system

It worked for me. I fave a simple setup with security=share
and most shares having root as the user. Only self & wife using
linux server. I kept my smb.conf as used with win98se.
Winxp said my ne2000 clone was working ok but no luck after
much puzzelment I changed to a cheaper clone
worked a charm!
