I have the same question and I'll explain what I want to do.

I have some old PC's that I want to put Linux on and connect to our Novell server.

Is there a step by step guide with links for what to download and use?

Ideally I want to have the machines that only need email, Office, Internet to run Linux. I also want these machines to have the drives mapped to where they need to be and to be able to print to Novell Printers/Ques.

How can this be done?
