Well, buddy, just be a little bit more creative. Have you shared something on your linux computer? Obviously not.
How do you share it? I tell you how - with a nifty piece of software called samba. By the time you write apt-get install samba(on debian/derivates), you will be able to share stuff on your linux pc. Just remember, you gotta edit /etc/samba/smb.conf and point what you wanna share.

Yes, he did. Your post presents two contredictory statements, he opted for the more likely issue:

"i am trying to file share with my linux pc from a windoze computer."
Interpretation: Linux needs to see Windows' files.

"i can access the 'doze computer from the linux pc but not vice versa."
Interpretation: Linux can see Windows' files. Windows can not see Linux files.

Samba is a server that will share folders on your Linux system and allow your MS system see them.

If your issue is truely that your Linux systems can not see Windows' shares, we'll need info as to the distribution you are running and what steps you have taken in Windows to share the folders.
