Accessing 802.11n beacon info from userspace

I understand that beacon frames in 802.11 can be captured if the wireless card is put in to monitor mode. However, I was wondering if there is any ability in linux to access the beacon frames from the access point that you are associated to in userspace?

Any pointers would be appreciated, thanks.

You can use pcap API to capture beacon frame in user space.
