Access a Mac OS-X shared folder from Linux
I have a Mac with OS-X (Mountain Lion) with a couple of folder shares, that is connected to my home network. Now, I also have an Ubuntu 12.04 box connected to the same network and would like to have access to the shared folders in the Mac. Is this possible? If it is, please, explain. Is it also possible the other way around (have access to shared folders in Linux from a Mac)? Thanks.

i think nfs is the preferred way since samba is for emulating windows printer and file sharing (so you dont need since there are no windows pc's in the network).
my favorite file server protocol is sshfs.

Thanks. With the info you gave me I set up the Mac for smb and now I can see my shares from the Linux box. The only thing to solve now is that I don't see from my Mac the shares that I create in the Linux box. Any help on this? Thanks.
