I am using mandrake. During the installation
my modem was not recognized. The modem is
a AC97. Sorry for the repeated questions. I was
not sure if my question went out on a previous
message.
AC97 is a winmodem - which means that it's not supported under linux. chances are that you'll need to buy a new modem. check out www.linmodems.org for more info.
