Exclamation abyss driver for kernel 2.4.7

when ever I do a modprobe abyss (which is the token ring driver for madge mk2) I get the following (paraphrased):

unresolved symbol tmsdev_init
unresolved symbol tms380tr_interrupt
etc....each one is apparently a config option for the card.

Does anyone know how to fix this kind of error?
My system has a 3com 905c on eth0
pentium II 300 96mb ram
nothing special past that.
