Angry about traffic control in redhat 7.1


hi
i'm new to traffic control can anyone guide me how to control traffic in redhat 7.1 ....which option shall i enable in kernel ...
can i control outgoing traffic for selected protocols .....how shall i control traffic if i dont know my speed ...

This page might have what you are looking for if you haven't already found it. Let me know if you ever get it working, from the looks of things I'll have to recompile my kernel to get trafffic shaping to work, which frankly frightens the life out of me
