about skbuff

hello all,

I have some queries.........

struct sk_buff *skb_tmp;
memcpy(skb_put(skb_tmp , skb->len),skb,skb->len);

IN the above operation i want to copy the contents of skb to skb_tmp......

NOW if i use the skb_tmp instead of skb ,in the linux stack(in the receive routines) the system will crash..........WHY(any idea....)?
(i tested this at netif_receive_skb())

What information is transferred onto the wire....?

is it just skb->len bytes..or fields like skb->sk,
skb->csum r also transferred.............

thanks in advance...
shri
