About alter telnet amount of persons login


Hi,all.
I got a problem.Our lab has two server(Linux).But morethan 120students wanna login.But one telnet has a limit(maybe is 60 person login together),I wanna alter the limit and make it larger for student.Can somebody tell me how to do?

Discuss it with the shell server admin at your school.

For security's sake, switch to ssh

This is the way that we have linux class.So I have to fix it .

I did fix it.Haha
In Fedora 5 ,if we want to make it larger and about 80 persons can login together ,we can do like this:
# vi /etc/xinetd.conf

Change this :
instances = 60(chang it to 80)

That's the way it is!
