Able to ping local ip but not LAN

Hello Friends,

I have a very strange problem in my Linux Router which acts as both DNS and DHCP server. The internal IP of the server is 192.168.x.x and external IP 122.166.X.X, I am not able to access any of the IP's which is in LAN from the server and vice versa but able to SSH to server via external IP from outside network.

Please help me out!!! Thanks in advance.

How many interfaces does your server have (is the external IP address NAT forwarded from the router)? If you have 2 NICs, what is the layout of the network?

have you tried traceroute from 192.168.X.X to outside (www.LQ.org)? What is the result?

Thanks Friends!!! for the reply. Actually it was problem wit NIC card. After replacing NIC card its working fine. As the server placed in remote location i was not able to check that initially.
